Furlong asked me to work with him and his fine company TC
Furlong Sound Systems Inc for this design. It's a small studio
housed in the former Ft. Sheridan military barracks. The Midwest
Young Artists is a fine arts camp that draws on young talent throughout
the Midwest. Thanks to Steve Rashid for his input. The treatment
was installed by Alex Villenchik and the equipment was installed
by Esdale Sound.
The Midwest Young Artists Studio features Genelec monitors, a
Mackie digital console, and the companion 24 track hard
disc recorder. Also in the racks are Studio Technologies mic pre-amps.
There is a bass trap hidden in the wall behind the racks.
